構造

横軸を距離、縦軸を遅延日数にし、値域を同じ面積の六角形ビンに分ける。セル色の濃さがその範囲の記録件数を表し、 最大セルは42件。架空の319件では30〜50kmかつ2〜3日遅延のビンに記録が集中している。
